The GBHS Band Department is once again selling their 2015 Customer Discount Cards. The cards are still $10 and provides a years worth of savings. The sale will start on Wednesday, January 7th, and will conclude on January 21st. Profits from this sale will offset the cost of marching band, purchase new day band uniforms, provide scholarships for students, and much much more. This fundraiser is one of our largest fundraisers that we do all year, and we need everyones help to make is successful. We are needing all students to sell at least 5 cards. If we sell all of our cards, we will profit $8000 to the band program. If everyone does their part, we can achieve our goal!

Our Red Envelope amounts have been added to the Charms Store! This is the first time trying this and the actual board and the Charms Store item will be updated as online donations are claimed.
Please help us spread the word to family, friends, co-workers, alumni and businesses how easy it is to now support the Grand Blanc Instrumental Music Department! Online order donations can be put into the Scrip box for those of us band families that are able to participate in this fundraiser. For those who can donate that do not live close or can’t get a donation order payment to a band student, the PO Box address is listed with the Item Description.
Remember… if we can get a donation for every envelope, 1 - 144, we will make $10,440! These donations will go into our general budget while we work towards items such as new Marching and Day Band uniforms and an enclosed trailer.

All scrip order through the band program provides FREE MONEY to the program that offers many positive opportunities for you child. The more funds we can raise, the less you have to pay out of your pocket. One of our goals is to provide the best possible experience with the funds available.
Our Scrip Goal = You receive your paid order THE NEXT DAY! That’s right … for example, if you order on Monday, you get your scrip on TUESDAY! How easy is that?

#2 Put together your scrip order by following the instructions
#3 When you are done with your order, give your payment (cash or check) to your student and have them turn it into Mr. Hutchison. (Please put “for scrip order” in the memo of the check.)
#4 Once your payment has been received, your completed order will be given to your student that day.
#5 DONE! Yes it is that easy!

We would like to send this invitation to you, your family and friends to attend the FIM Winter Concert on Firday, December 12th, at 7pm in the GBHS Howard Pepper Auditorium. The concert will feature a variety of musical selections and admission to the concert is free.
It is a great honor once again to host the Flint School of Performing Arts. All ensembles have been working hard in ensemble rehearsals, sectionals and through individual practice to prepare this music for your entertainment and enjoyment. I know the students will give their best efforts as performers and hope that you, as audience members, will help provide the students with a true concert atmosphere.
It’s TubaChristmas time once more! On Saturday, December 13th, the University of Michigan-Flint will sponsor a TUBACHRISTMAS concert. We will give two (2!) concerts this year, one at the new Flint Farmers’ Market and the other at Courtland Center
PLEASE BRING A MUSIC STAND.
TUBACHRISTMAS rehearsal will be held on the University of Michigan-Flint campus, in Room 144 of French Hall at 303 E. Kearsley Street in Flint. There is plenty of free parking on Saturdays in the Harrison/Kearsley St parking ramp. We’ll have chairs available for the rehearsal, but please bring your own stand.

The registration fee was changed to $10 in 2013. If you need the TUBACHRISTMAS Carol Book, the cost is an additional $20.00. Regretfully, the cost of the Carol book increased – we are charging cost only, and no profit is made from the sale of the Carol Book.
The registration fee and cost of Carol Book may be paid in cash or by check. Please make checks payable to University of Michigan-Flint (not TUBACHRISTMAS).
